This oak floor was well past it’s best. Worn down and damaged from years of neglect and improper maintenance. It was sanded back and then re-finished with 3 coats of invisible floor lacquer to keep it as light and natural as possible.

This gorgeous, exotic parquet floor had been hidden under a carpet in a period property in the North East. Once it was cleaned up and sanded back down to the bare timber, we then continuously fine sanded it until all the sanding marks were removed, then applied 2 coats of clear penetrating oil to really enhance the stunning grain.
Hand Scraping
Hand scraping is a technique used to give a whole new dynamic to your floor. By using a specially adapted scraper and physically scraping the wood by hand, you end up with a textured finish which is completely unique.
